Common and different

Nice morning out. Not much to say about these photos except they are very much touristy shots. In other words: popular and common. Still, I like the colors and playing around with HDR.

Since I am on vacation, I decided to do something a bit different today. I visited a site where I know I can find old bottles. Bottles and arrowheads are things I have been collecting since I was a child. Bottles are pretty easy to find if you can figure out where people dumped their garbage. Arrowheads are a lot tougher. The last one I found was on Dec 6, 2006 on the south shore. It had been the first one I found in nearly 30 years.

Anyway, here's a pic of some of the "loot" I discovered buried today. The jar on the left is a raspberry jam jar from the "Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company" (A&P today). And I like the small bottle on the right with a side of it flat. Maybe good for storage? It was a good day being different!
