Intentions

I don't know what happened in Lowell last night, but the city was rocking.

I had gone to bed early for a Friday night with the intention of getting up for the morning sunrise. All I know is that at midnight I was looking out my window trying to figure out where all the noise was coming from. I did manage to get back to sleep, but I was a little delayed with the wake up call. Even so, I did get out into the morning light at a decent time. I decided to head in a whole new direction (Back Central) instead of the downtown area.

The Registry of Deeds is an interesting brick building (the above and below photos). The back and side of it reminded me of a gingerbread house. I do hope there is a deep commitment to keeping these buildings. I really do think it adds to Lowell's multi-faceted personality and documents its timeline in such an interesting fashion.
